La chapelle actuelle a \u00e9t\u00e9 construite au d\u00e9but du XVIe si\u00e8cle.<\/p><p class=\"Textbody\">Au d\u00e9but du XVIII\u00e8me le ch\u00e2teau est la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de Georges Lusson, fils de Ren\u00e9 Lusson, greffier du comt\u00e9 de Serrant. il est mari\u00e9 \u00e0 Anne Marie Jory, fille d\u2019un marchand et ancien juge d\u2019Angers. Leur fille Anne Christine se marie avec <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/saint-georges-sur-loire-patrimoine.fr\/index.php\/2025\/02\/07\/julien-heurtelou\/\">Julien Heurtelou<\/a><\/span>, secr\u00e9taire \u00e0 la mairie d&rsquo;Angers, qui re\u00e7oit le ch\u00e2teau en dot. Leur fils Julien Georges Jean, n\u00e9 le 26 mai 1765, deviendra officier municipal de novembre 1791 \u00e0 avril 1795, puis administrateur du district d\u2019Angers jusqu\u2019en juin 1798, \u00e0 la suite de quoi, il deviendra membre de la commission des hospices et membre du conseil g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de 1800 \u00e0 1808. Il fait reconstruire le ch\u00e2teau de la B\u00e9naudi\u00e8re apr\u00e8s 1796. Il est \u00e9lu \u00e0 la chambre des D\u00e9put\u00e9s en 1815 pendant la Restauration. A cette \u00e9poque, Monsieur de Jousselin entreprend de <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/saint-georges-sur-loire-patrimoine.fr\/index.php\/2025\/02\/10\/drainage-de-la-benaudiere\/\">grands travaux de drainage<\/a><\/span> commenc\u00e9s d\u00e8s l\u2019hiver 1855. Ces travaux permettent de transformer le domaine en exploitation mod\u00e8le qui a disput\u00e9 la coupe d\u2019honneur du concours agricole de 1862 et m\u00e9rit\u00e9 la grande m\u00e9daille d\u2019or.<\/p><p>Son fils, Marie-Paul Fran\u00e7ois de Jousselin, montera un \u00e9levage de chevaux qui disputeront les <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/saint-georges-sur-loire-patrimoine.fr\/index.php\/2024\/05\/28\/les-courses-hippiques-de-serrant\/\">courses hippiques au ch\u00e2teau de Serran<\/a><\/span>t notamment.\u00a0 A l&rsquo;\u00e2ge de 19 ans, le fils de ce dernier, Ren\u00e9 de Jousselin, meurt dans un tragique accident de motocyclette \u00e0 Angers, en novembre 1927. C&rsquo;est Alice de Jousselin qui, mari\u00e9e \u00e0 Joseph Le Court de B\u00e9ru, h\u00e9ritera du ch\u00e2teau de la B\u00e9naudi\u00e8re.<\/p><p class=\"Textbody\">Le ch\u00e2teau est, aujourd&rsquo;hui, une propri\u00e9t\u00e9 priv\u00e9e, appartenant \u00e0 leurs descendants.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div Histoire Le domaine appartient jusqu\u2019au\u00a0 XVIe si\u00e8cle, \u00e0 la famille De Brie, les seigneurs de Serrant. La chapelle actuelle a \u00e9t\u00e9 construite au d\u00e9but du XVIe si\u00e8cle. Au d\u00e9but du XVIII\u00e8me le ch\u00e2teau est la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de Georges Lusson, fils de Ren\u00e9 Lusson, greffier du comt\u00e9 de Serrant. il est mari\u00e9 \u00e0 Anne Marie Jory, fille d\u2019un marchand et ancien juge d\u2019Angers. Leur fille Anne Christine se marie avec Julien Heurtelou, secr\u00e9taire \u00e0 la mairie d&rsquo;Angers, qui re\u00e7oit le ch\u00e2teau en dot. Leur fils Julien Georges Jean, n\u00e9 le 26 mai 1765, deviendra officier municipal de novembre 1791 \u00e0 avril 1795, puis administrateur du district d\u2019Angers jusqu\u2019en juin 1798, \u00e0 la suite de quoi, il deviendra membre de la commission des hospices et membre du conseil g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de 1800 \u00e0 1808. Il fait reconstruire le ch\u00e2teau de la B\u00e9naudi\u00e8re apr\u00e8s 1796. Il est \u00e9lu \u00e0 la chambre des D\u00e9put\u00e9s en 1815 pendant la Restauration. Il d\u00e9c\u00e8de \u00e0 la B\u00e9naudi\u00e8re le 30 ao\u00fbt 1841. De grands travaux La propri\u00e9t\u00e9 est ensuite rest\u00e9e dans la m\u00eame famille depuis 1854, date d\u2019acquisition par Charles-Marie Calixtede Jousselin, arri\u00e8re grand-p\u00e8re des propri\u00e9taires actuels. A cette \u00e9poque, Monsieur de Jousselin entreprend de grands travaux de drainage commenc\u00e9s d\u00e8s l\u2019hiver 1855. Ces travaux permettent de transformer le domaine en exploitation mod\u00e8le qui a disput\u00e9 la coupe d\u2019honneur du concours agricole de 1862 et m\u00e9rit\u00e9 la grande m\u00e9daille d\u2019or. Son fils, Marie-Paul Fran\u00e7ois de Jousselin, montera un \u00e9levage de chevaux qui disputeront les courses hippiques au ch\u00e2teau de Serrant notamment.\u00a0 A l&rsquo;\u00e2ge de 19 ans, le fils de ce dernier, Ren\u00e9 de Jousselin, meurt dans un tragique accident de motocyclette \u00e0 Angers, en novembre 1927. C&rsquo;est Alice de Jousselin qui, mari\u00e9e \u00e0 Joseph Le Court de B\u00e9ru, h\u00e9ritera du ch\u00e2teau de la B\u00e9naudi\u00e8re.
